Physics (PHY): any course numbered 100 or above
Psychology (PSY): 140

The following courses will NOT be allowed to count as an elective for the master's degree

Biology (BIO): 133
Economics (EC): 107, 169, 191
Philosophy (PHIL): 114
Psychology (PSY): 107, 108
Sociology (SOC): 101

Students who would like to request approval of a different course (not mentioned above) to count as an elective should send fill in the petition listed at the bottom of the Resources page.
