Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Requirements
The Post-Baccalaureate certificate program is intended for students with a bachelor's degree (in any field) who would like to expand or deepen their mathematical skills for use in the workplace or in preparation for graduate programs in mathematics. The program is flexible and can accommodate students with a wide range of backgrounds and goals. Students are expected to have strong skills in (high-school level) algebra and to have taken a full year of calculus before entering the program. Post-Baccalaureate courses numbered above 100 are transferable into the Tufts MS program upon acceptance to that program. Completion of the certificate program requires grades of B- or better in all courses.
4 courses in total:
Courses can not be transferred in. If a student has already taken an equivalent course, they must substitute it with an additional course above 120.
If a student is planning on entering a Master's program in
Mathematics, we strongly encourage them to take Math 135.
